Planting:[1]
During the nine days one is not allowed to plant gardens for pleasure purposes, such as the trees of kings which are planted for shade, or different species of myrtle.
Q&A May one plant a garden during the nine days?[2] No. However, one may do so for purposes of livelihood/Parnasa.
May one tend his garden during the nine days?[3] Yes. One may remove weeds and perform other garden work during these days. |
