Re-warming Pas Akum bread

The bread was baked without any of the above activities performed:[1] If the bread was already baked by the gentile and removed from the oven without any of the above activities being performed by the Jew, then some Poskim[2] rule that if further baking will be of benefit to the bread, then a Jew may permit the bread by returning it to the oven for the further baking. [Practically, Sephardim do not rule like this opinion, even Bedieved.[3] However, Ashkenazim may rely on this opinion in a time of need, if in truth the bread can use further baking.[4] According to all opinions, if the bread will not be enhanced in its baking by returning it to the oven, then it does not help. Likewise, simply making it into toast does not help. Hence in today’s times that most bakery goods are fully baked by the time they reach the consumer, putting it back in the oven would not be of any use.]
