Where is Mordechai and Esther buried?
Mordechai is buried in the city of Shushan. The tomb of Mordechai can be found in the city of Hamadan, Iran. Esther is buried in a Northern Galilean town called Baram. She was buried there by her son Daryaveish, the king of Persia, who was commanded by Esther to do so prior to her passing. The city of Baram is located a 25 minute drive from Sefad. Every Shushan Purim, a Minyan of Jews from Tzefas would visit her grave and read the Megillah there, and eat and drink and rejoice.
